Extra info

A family Dogue de Bordeaux breeding farm located on a typical old but recently renovated Istrian farm. A combination of picturesque estate characterized by a stone wall surrounding a traditional stone house makes a wonderful home to this noble and proud breed offering a unique experience. The farm is located in a small village called Petehi (which is Istrian for a rooster), in the central part of Istria, in the Municipality of Barban. It is located 25 km from Pula, 20 km from Rovinj, 30 km from Porec and 15 km from Pazin. The farm is surrounded by a typical Istrian landscape - vineyards, olive groves and cultivated fields surrounded by drywalls and pastures with traditional cottages called kažuni (typical Istrian shepherd's cottage). This environment is excellent for our dogs because they can be very active and they breed naturally. Experts involved in breeding, care and training are Deana and Ivo Švaljug. Dogs are under constant surveillance of the Veterinary Station Porec, fed with Royal Canin food, professional line, and under the mentorship of Bordomax breeding farm. The farm is registered with the Croatian Association of Cynology and F.C.I., code number 39/07. We are members of the Croatian Association of Cynlogy, Club Italiano Del Molosso and Sezione Dogue de Bordeaux. We participate in domestic and international dog shows regularly and achieve excellent results. Our primary goal is to preserve this breed and all features that make it so exquisite, especially its health with the accent on the prevention of genetically conditioned disorders.

We hope our breeding achievements will make our dogs’ future owners happy, the same way our dogs make us happy every day!
